PRE-APPOINTMENT INFOrmation
Pre-Appointment Guidelines:
Alcohol and Blood Thinners: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinning medications for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Waxing or Tweezing: Refrain from waxing or tweezing your eyebrows for 7 days before your appointment.
Tanning and Sun Exposure: Steer clear of tanning and extreme sun exposure for 7 days prior to your appointment.
Self-Tanning Products: Avoid using self-tanning products on your face for 7 days before your appointment.
Skin Rejuvenating Products: Refrain from using retinol, Retin-A's, glycolic acids, or any skin rejuvenating products for 7 days before your appointment.
Facial Treatments: Avoid facial peels, lasers, microneedling, or dermaplaning for 14 days before your appointment.
Botox Injections: Allow at least 14 days between Botox injections and your microblading appointment. Wait 10 days post-microblading for Botox treatments.
Medical Grade Treatments: If you've had medical-grade facials, peels, resurfacing agents, etc., wait at least 30 days before Microblading.

POST-APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
Microblading Aftercare Guide:
Cleaning Your Brows:
Wash your hands with disinfectant soap before cleaning your eyebrows.
Use a damp cotton round to clean your brows in a gentle, dabbing/sweeping motion.
After cleaning, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor using a Q-tip. Avoid excessive application.
Avoid aggressive movement or manipulation of the skin.
Cleaning Schedule:
First cleaning: Two hours after leaving your appointment.
Second cleaning: On the night of your appointment.
Starting from the second day, clean your brows morning and night for the rest of the 10 days. The day of your initial appointment is day one.
On day 11, you can discontinue the cleaning routine and resume normal activities.
Additional Guidelines:
Avoid tinting or waxing your brows for 30 days after the appointment.
Once healed, you may fill your brows in with makeup if desired.
Things to Avoid While Healing:
Sun Exposure: Wear a hat or seek shade when outdoors during the healing period. Sunscreen cannot be applied to healing brows.
Water Saturation: Face away from the showerhead to avoid wetting your face. Cleanse your forehead separately with a warm damp rag to prevent water and soap from affecting the brows.
Excessive Sweat: Minimize intense sweating for at least the first 5 days. Light activities can be resumed on day 6.
Sleeping: Avoid sleeping face down on your pillow. Do not pick, peel, scratch, or touch the brows.
Avoid massages, spray tans, chemical peels, facials, and lash extension appointments during the 10-day healing phase.
Keep foundations, liquid, or powder away from the brows while healing, as it may impact your healed results.

POLICIES
Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule once on one deposit. After more than one reschedule, you will need to pay a new deposit. This will be applied to your balance at check-out the day of your service.
Switching Artists: NEW CLIENTS - If you are currently on the schedule and would like to book with a different artist, you may schedule a new appointment with a new deposit. Once we see the new appointment booked, we will cancel the old appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable as well as non-transferable. If you are currently a client of Brow Canvas and would like to book with an artist that did not do your initial appointment – there will be a one-time flat fee of $25 the day of your appointment for switching artists. This fee is a one-time payment that goes to your old artist. We strive to ensure a smooth transition between artists while providing clear instructions and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment, please note that your deposit will not be refunded as all deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellations made within the 24-hour window will be charged 25% of the remaining balance to the card on file.
No Call No Shows: If you do not show up and do not contact us, a charge of 50% of the remaining balance will be applied to the card on file. To rebook with us, please contact us via phone or email (504-323-4536 // info@browcanvas.com). Please note that your deposit will be doubled to ensure your commitment to any future appointments.
Grace Period: Each client is allotted a 15-minute grace period for arriving at their scheduled appointment. Arrivals exceeding this 15-minute window will result in the appointment being canceled. Failure to notify your artist of your tardiness, while still arriving late, will be treated as a 'no-call, no-show,' and you will be charged accordingly.
Waitlist: To join our waitlist, schedule an appointment on our website and contact us via text or email (504-323-4536 // info@browcanvas.com). Provide your name, current appointment details, and preferred time frame. Thank you!
Refunds: Any forms of payment towards an appointment at Brow Canvas are non-refundable once the service has been completed. If your appointment is paid for in full and you would like to cancel, you will be refunded the amount minus the deposit and processing fee.
