How long does it last?
Your brows will last between 1-2 years. We recommend that our clients come in for an annual touch-up to keep the brow color looking fresh. Some clients will need to have a touch up more often due to certain lifestyle habits that cause fading like sun, facial peels and skin cell regenerative products. How often you need to come back for a color boost will be determined at your first initial touch-up which occurs 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment. Seeing the brows healed helps determine your retention level.
Will it hurt?
Some discomfort is associated with this procedure. The sensation has been compared to having your brows plucked or threaded. A topical numbing anesthetic may be applied multiple times during the procedure to keep you comfortable. If needed.
How long does the appointment take?
The initial appointment time slot is 2 hours. Time for paperwork is included into this time slot so there’s no need to come in earlier than scheduled unless asked to. The actual Microblading process only takes 30 to 45 minutes. All other time of the appointment will be spent on consulting, shaping the brows, color picking and skin analysis. We ask that you block off 2 hours to spend with us on your brows, although in certain instances the appointment may not take up the full time slot. Touch up and color boost appointments get an hour and a half time slot.
How many treatments will I require?
In most cases, only the initial treatment followed by a touch-up (within 30-60 days - included in the initial fee). However, those with particularly oily/difficult skin or those desiring very "light" brows (blonde/taupe) may require an additional touch up outside of the initial appointment ad 6-8 week touch up. This treatment will cost $75 and must be booked 6-8 weeks from your initial touch up.
